1st September 2014 Welcome to the latest Club update. It is all about the F.A. Cup this week, as we came ever so close to progressing to the First Qualifying Round only to be denied by a late Croydon equaliser. Taylor Smith put us ahead in the first half at High Road, but we couldn't hold on and now face a replay at Croydon Arena this Wednesday. This also means that our League match with Chertsey Town has been delayed until Tuesday 28th October. Of course, we now know that the reward is a home tie with Burgess Hill Town on Saturday 13th September and with no offence to Frimley Green, our potential League opponents that day, I know who I'd rather be playing that afternoon! One final thing this week; The Ice Bucket Challenge is up and running, and this charitable initiative has now reached us here. The latest nominees are Carl Downs and Anthony Panayi but there could be others and you can see all the ones so far on the relevant section on the index page of this web site, so go ahead and have some fun! In the meantime, why not pop along to the Croydon Arena and give our boys some support on Wednesday? Come on you Salts!
