7th September 2015
Welcome to the latest Club update.
This week we said goodbye to the F.A. Vase following a 3-0 defeat in Horsham. It wasn't our best performance but sometimes you just have to say you were beaten by the better team and move on.
We have had some tough Cup draws this season so far but that's the way it goes sometimes and now we have to get straight back on with League matters as Colliers Wood United visit us on Tuesday evening. This will also be a tough game but we are perfectly capable of winning this match and with games to come against Spelthorne Sports and AFC Hayes, neither of whom have started well, we have every opportunity to maintain or even improve on our current fifth position.
The Spelthorne game is on Saturday and was the scene of arguably our beat performance of the season when we won 3-0 and Dale Marvell scored on his 300th appearance, so hopefully we can produce another fine performance again.
So plenty to look forward to still this season if you are a Salts fan. Why not come along on Tuesday and see how we get on? The England game is on the tv at Chipstead too, so there's no need to stay in!
Come on you Salts!
