Thursday 15th May - The league allocations are out for Steps 2-6 and although some uncertainty remains due to the outstanding playoffs, we unsurprisingly remain in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South. We welcome Badshot Lea, Sutton Common Rovers, Eversley & California and Thatcham Town. The allocations for Steps 5 and 6 are available by clicking on the link above and the allocations for Steps 2 to 4 are available HERE although there may be some changes once the playoffs have taken place. Please keep checking back for confirmation.

Tuesday 13th May - If you love your stats or history, the latest update to the Official Isthmian Archive website is now live and inclusive of the 2024/25 season. Every single match is listed, whether League or Cup, Firsts, Reserves or Ladies, they are all here. It's huge! Just click on the banner lower down on this front page, or select the Isthmian logo from our Historical Section.

Sunday 11th May - 40 years ago today 56 supporters went to a game of football and never came back, as they perished in the Bradford City fire at Valley Parade. Never forget!

Friday 9th May - Last night AFC Walcountians earned promotion to Step Six, although they have been sharing Cobham's ground for the whole of this season and presumably intend to continue next term. With three clubs sharing the Reg Madgwick Stadium in 2025/26, it will be interesting to see who plays their home matches on the alternate Saturday and I'm calling on the club to make this clear. Do we face a season of Friday night fixtures, based on what happened to Ashford Town at Cobham last season? It's time the club made this clarification as a courtesy to its loyal and patient supporters. The silence from our club, as usual, is deafening.

Wednesday 7th May - For those who like their stats, the Historical Archive section has now been updated for this season, along with a huge player file. If you have ever played for the First team, then you are there. We have masses of different stats that may be of interest, just have a look in by clicking on the relevant button.

Wednesday 7th May - Richard's seasonal summary is now available. Read the story of a chaotic season, chock full of cup matches and other strange goings on. Just click on the button above.

Tuesday 6th May - As is always the case here, we commemorate 32 years to the day since we played our last Men's First team fixture at West Street, when we defeated Chipstead 1-0 with a goal from Paul Meredith. A much-missed and always remembered ground.

Friday 2nd May - Further to yesterday's message, it transpires that we have also been removed from the League Cup for playing Jack Torbett in our Third Round defeat at Wallingford & Crowmarsh, when he had already played for Langley in their First Round defeat to Harefield United. The irony here is that Jason Bloor missed a number of cup ties this season because he was also cup tied with Langley, yet our Secretary never looked into Torbett despite it being easy to check. So easy in fact, that you have to question whether this was poor work from our Secretary, or that our club deliberately stayed quiet, hoping the matter would not be discovered. Or both!

Thursday 1st May - Surprising news! Both our club and Cobham have been reinstated into the League Cup, following ineligible player issues for the two teams that knocked us out in the Third Round. As a result, we now travel to Cobham in the Quarter-Final on Tuesday 6th May with the winners set to host Horley Town in the Semi-Final. This season just goes on and on!

Tuesday 26th April - Our club held its Presentation Evening at the Epsom Club on Saturday evening. There were lots of random awards presented, but the main four traditional awards that mattered were as follows: Supporter's Player of the Year - Luke Miller with Craig Dundas and Adam Green as joint runner-up. Club Player of the Year - Niall Stillwell. Player's Player of the Year - Adam Green with Craig Dundas as runner-up. Management Player of the Year - Adam Green with Jason Bloor as runner-up. Congratulations to all!

Tuesday 26th April - Our club has unsurprisingly awarded the Manager's position to Craig Dundas and Max Johnson on a joint basis, following the strong end to the season. Congratulations to both!

Tuesday 22nd April - Congratulations to Carl Oblitey who made his 50th appearance for the club in our League Cup Final against Abbey Rangers. He becomes the 281st player in club history to reach this mark and the first since Adam Green on 18th February 2025.

Tuesday 22nd April - A goal from Ethan Nelson-Roberts was the difference between the teams as we defeated Abbey Rangers 1-0 to lift the Southern Combination Cup for the second time in our history and the first since 1980 at the KGF on Tuesday evening. As is often the case when it tries to refer to our history, our club is wrong and despite their claims, we did not win it in 1982/83. The detailed, accurate and honest report is available above.

Saturday 19th April - It is 50 years ago TODAY that we appeared at Wembley Stadium in the Final of the first ever F.A. Vase, narrowly being defeated 2-1 by Hoddesdon Town. Our series is available above, with all reports and programmes available to read and download. Why not have a look in?

Saturday 5th April - Our club hit a new low this weekend when hiring a private security guard to prevent me from entering the ground. How sad is it that a club of our supposed stature is so paranoid that it reverts to those costly tactics just to prevent a supporter witnessing a game at a time when the club keeps banging on about how important its support is! This has all the hallmarks of the two cowboys currently running our club into the ground, Mel Tough and Barry Gartell, the latter of which is already to be written to by the Surrey FA after his threatening behaviour to me back in January. These people just CAN'T abide someone with a different view to theirs and are also ignoring representations from the well-respected Football Supporters Association who have questioned whether such a ban is appropriate. I am now calling for the Epsom and Ewell Borough Council to carry out significant due diligence on these people or maybe even placing conditions on their removal from positions of responsibility at our club, prior to granting the club a lease for a new ground in the Borough. This club needs to be returned to the supporters and right now it is being run by a self-interested cartel. I will continue to hold this shambles of an organisation to account.

Monday 31st March - Following a number of threats, errors and cover ups by our regime at what used to be a friendly football club, I am now calling for change at Epsom & Ewell FC. Please read and publicise my statement above.

Monday 31st March - Our club has finally announced that we are to play our home matches next season at Cobham FC.

This website is looking for sponsors. As you can see, the site contains an enormous amount of information and gets thousands of page views each month, which is humbling, bearing in mind the level at which we play! It also contains a vast and detailed Historical Archive which is not just restricted to our club. If you wish to place an advert here, or even sponsor the site itself, just drop me a line and your help can enable me to expand the site still further! It clearly is in need of a bit of smartening up shortly, but in the meantime, given the choice, I'd always have information and accuracy as the main priorities ahead of a few random pictures of player huddles!
