Saturday 29th November - Congratulations to Ali Fofahan who made his 50th appearance for our club in our League match against Tooting & Mitcham United. He becomes the 287th player in club history to reach this mark, and the first since Niall Stillwell on 27th October 2025.

Saturday 29th November - For the first time in twelve attempts Tooting & Mitcham United secured their first ever League "double" over us with a narrow 2-1 win at Imperial Fields. The detailed and honest report is available above.

Thursday 27th November - We are sad to announce that long serving supporter from the West Street days Pete "Grandad" Grover has passed away recently, aged 81. He was a regular serving behind the bar in our new clubhouse throughout the eighties and occasionally even drove the team coach to away matches! RIP Pete.

Tuesday 25th November - Following the abandonment on Saturday, the pitch has not been able to recover in time and tonight's Southern Combination Cup tie at home to Horley Town has been postponed. A new date will be advised in due course.

Tuesday 25th November - In other fixture news, our rearranged League match at home to Badshot Lea is now scheduled for Tuesday 16th December, while our home match against Fleet Town has been arranged for Saturday 11th April, meaning that our final two League matches are currently against Fleet!

Tuesday 25th November - Today we commemorate the 92nd anniversary of our only appearance in the First Round of the F.A. Cup, when we were defeated 4-2 at a club then known as Clapton Orient, but are better known these days of course as Leyton Orient. The match was played at the Lea Bridge Speedway Stadium, which was their home ground before they moved into Brisbane Road in the late 1930s. Our scorers that day were regulars at finding the net, Leslie Graves and Leslie Marlow, who, just for clarity, was not related to our legendary striker Reg Marlow.

Saturday 22nd November - Our latest League match was abandoned at half time for a waterlogged pitch with a goalless scoreline against Badshot Lea. The detailed and honest report is available in the reports section.

Saturday 22nd November - It's one in and one out at Epsom as Jason Vincent departs for Redhill having made 11 appearances with two goals for us, while in better news our Captain Adam Green returns to our club after a brief flirtation with Fleet Town. It is hoped that he will add to his 85 appearances shortly. Good luck to Jason and welcome back Adam!

Saturday 15th November - We defeated Sheerwater for the first time in over 50 years on Saturday after a late Callum O'Keeffe goal enabled us to win 4-3 in a match where we had already led twice previously. It was our first away league win of the season! The detailed and honest report is available in the reports section.

Thursday 13th November - On this day 50 years ago, Trevor Lee signed for Millwall on live television, on an ITV programme called the Today Programme. I suppose it was their equivalent of the BBC One Show these days, although the show itself would be consigned to history just over a year later after an infamous interview with the Sex Pistols! Just in case you were wondering, Phil Walker didn't sign this day as he was undergoing x-rays, although both players had been playing for the professional club for a month by this time.

Tuesday 11th November - We were held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Eversley & California in our latest League match on Tuesday night. The detailed and honest report is available in the reports section.

Tuesday 11th November - In fixture news, we will host Horley Town as we open up our defence of the Southern Combination Cup on Tuesday 25th November at Chalky Lane.

Tuesday 11th November - Today we commemorate two years since our President Stella Lamont passed away at the age of 95. It is shameful, but regrettably par for the course that our club appear to have completely abandoned the Stella Lamont trophy this season without even consulting supporters.

Friday 17th October - Two of our former long-serving players and best defenders, Tony Coombe and Les Peck, are looking for players and supporters from the late Seventies and early Eighties to get in touch with him, with a view to arranging a gathering to go over old memories at some point early in the New Year. If you played for us, or used to watch us at West Street during those years, then please drop Tony a line at: anthonycoombe1956@gmail.com for further details.

This website is always looking for sponsors. As you can see, it contains an enormous amount of information and gets thousands of page views each month, which is humbling, bearing in mind the level at which we play! It also contains a vast and detailed Historical Archive which is not just restricted to our club. If you wish to place an advert here, or even sponsor the site itself, just drop me a line and your help can enable me to expand the site still further! It clearly is in need of a bit of smartening up shortly, but in the meantime, given the choice, I'd always have information and accuracy as the main priorities ahead of a few random pictures of player huddles!

For those who want up to date Club news, match updates and History, why not follow us on Twitter at: @EEFCOnline This website will of course continue to post the latest club news, reports, previews and stats, as well as constantly enhancing its enormous historical section.
